Overview
This site is AkorLabs Technologies' company website, blog and case-study platform. It's built for long-term use: content lives in MDX files alongside the code, is validated against a schema at build time, and is rendered to static pages.
How it works
- Content as code: projects and posts are MDX files with typed frontmatter. A missing field fails the build instead of breaking a page.
- Case studies: each project page is assembled from its frontmatter (role, timeline, stack, metrics, highlights) plus custom MDX components for architecture diagrams and engineering challenges.
- Private by design: most of our work lives in private repositories or is under client NDA. Projects declare their visibility, and private ones show a "request a walkthrough" option instead of a repository link.
- SEO: per-page metadata and social cards, JSON-LD structured data, a sitemap, RSS and canonical URLs.
- Contact: validated on both client and server, with a notification and an automatic reply sent as transactional email.
Stack
Next.js App Router with static generation, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS with a small design-token layer, Contentlayer for MDX, and Vercel for hosting. The source is public on GitHub.
